Yep, I was to pick him up at work a little early and we would spend the afternoon and evening hours enjoying the beauty of the gardens and the delight of watching the butterflies at the Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center.
We had a wonderful time together! Rather odd seeing my manly crew sitting on a butterfly seat...Oh well, seize the moment!!! Sometimes I do see some
glimpses of brotherly affection coming through....
The surprise of the day was that was the scheduled day for Callaway Garden's annual Hot Air Balloon Glow! We had traveled to attend it several years prior and the weather conditions were not conducive... This time we were not disappointed!
The weather was absolutely beautiful. The children were amazed! MLC has talked about the BIG BALLOONS for days now!
